ANNOUNCEMENTS
This is not an exhaustive list of announcements and/or events. Please use our designated calendars (HERE) and be sure to sign up for the weekly newsletter where we share news every Friday!
Quarter 2 Closeout Day is November 25, with December 5 being the final day to complete work for credit.
We are doing this as an extra nudge to help students keep up. Any assessments due by November 25 (Thankgiving) must be completed by Friday, December 5 in order to earn credit. This does not override any other policies that teachers have about completing work and deadlines.
For students who need extra time to work in that week before December 5, we will have an afternoon study hall in the library on Monday - Thursday December 1 - 5 where students can get support from a teacher with their work.
A Small Gas Engines Class will be available next semester. We are in need of donations. If anyone has small gas engines they would be willing to donate —we would greatly appreciate it. Items can be dropped off at any time in front of the woodshop garage door.
Examples of helpful donations include chainsaws, lawnmowers, weed wackers, and similar equipment. If it’s more convenient, individuals may contact Amy Baker at a.beker@georgestevens.org if a pickup is needed.
