Biography
Mike Sealander is a Maine Licensed Architect and a principal at Sealander Architects, a firm focusing on educational and institutional projects in eastern Maine. He is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where he earned a Master of Architecture degree. His Bachelor of Arts degree is from Wesleyan University, where he majored in Religious Studies.
Mike is currently serving his eleventh year on the Brooklin School Board. He is also vice president of Heart of Ellsworth, and chairs the Hancock County Habitat for Humanity board. He holds a Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 certificate. Recent interests include how brain hemispheric differences affect perception, and regenerative design and agriculture.
Mike's three children are all graduates of George Stevens Academy.
