Biography
Elizabeth Oldfield is a Maine native, born and raised in Bangor. She began college at Tulane University in New Orleans as an international relations major before switching paths toward science, ultimately transferring to the University of Maine. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Marine Science and a minor in French.
Outside the classroom, Elizabeth is a passionate baker and cook who's always experimenting with new recipes and desserts, and a maker who sews, builds costumes, and works in wool felting. She says the best part of teaching is watching a concept click for a student — that spark of understanding in their eyes.
