Biography

Eden Cowart, has had a presence on the peninsula for almost 25 years. She actively serves her community in West Brooklin as the Chair of the Architecture Committee for the Friend Memorial Library and the Treasurer to the Brooklin School Parent Teachers & Friends Group. Eden is currently on the Building Committee for GSA and a parent of a GSA student. She has worked for architectural firms or construction companies since she was a teen. Before moving full-time to Maine, she ran a non-profit organization for 15 years that worked specifically with high school students, providing humanitarian aid and leadership training to rural schools all over India. A mom of three, Eden is passionate about family, community, historic preservation and making a difference.
