Biography

Eden Cowart, has had a presence on the peninsula for almost 25 years. She is a small business owner and actively serves her community in West Brooklin as the Treasurer to the Brooklin School Parent Teachers & Friends Group. Eden is currently Co-Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for GSA, Chair of COT, member of the Facilities Committee and a parent of a GSA student. She has worked for architectural firms or construction companies since she was a teen. Before moving full-time to Maine, she ran a non-profit organization for 15 years that worked specifically with high school students, providing humanitarian aid and leadership training to rural schools all over India. A mom of three, Eden is passionate about family, community, historic preservation and making a difference.
