Biography
Born and raised (mostly) on the Blue Hill Peninsula, Deb is a GSA alum class of ‘79 and lives in her home town of Brooksville, where she and her husband Dave, run Hiram Blake Camp, a family owned and operated business for over 100 years. Deb and Dave have raised three GSA alums; John, ’10, Will ’13 and Anna “15
Educated in Maine’s University System, she has a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation and an M. Ed. in Counselor Education.
Deb has been a member of the George Stevens Academy Board of Trustees for the past 23 years with a year off between each nine-year term. As a member of the GSA board, she has chaired the Education Committee, the Development Committee, and the Committee on Trustees, and has been Vice Chair of the Board as well as being a member of the Head Evaluation Team, the Salaries and Benefits Committee, and numerous other Ad Hoc committees. Deb is currently Chair of the Board.
