GSA HCTC STUDENTS INDUCTED INTO THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONORS SOCIETY

Congratulations to Alexa Andaya (Diesel Technology) and Charity Lane (Health Occupations) for their recent induction into the National Technical Honors Society via the HCTC program.

Must be 15-18 years old

$15.30/hr plus End Bonus

35 hrs/week

ANNOUNCEMENT RE: UPCOMING PROFESSIONAL/BOARD VISIONING DAYS:

On Friday, March 6th, we are going to keep the early release and PD time that was scheduled.

The 13th will now be a full-day with the Board for future visioning/strategic planning, etc. There will be no school that day.

On the 26th, we will have regular parent/teacher conferences from 3:00-8:00. On the 27th, there will be no school and there will be a follow-up session with the Board. This will end at the half-day mark, so that those employees entitled to comp time are able to use it the second half of the day.

GSA SOAR is hosting a peninsula-wide Easter Egg Hunt on March 28th! Bring the whole family and spread the word! A big bonus? The GSA student pan group is going to be playing, too!! Thanks to Martin and students for supporting the community on this special day.

DRIVERS ED- AROUND THE CORNER!

Call Julie or Dan at Driver's Edge at (207) 356-9833 to sign up and receive paperwork.
Cost is $555 before the permit test. The permit test will cost an additional $39.95 for AAA members, or $49.95 for non-AAA members.  Sign-up is first-come, first-served. Orientation will be in the Cafeteria, and classes will be in a classroom to be announced.

March 9th: Orientation, 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. A guardian must be present for orientation.

March 10th: Class One, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

March 11th: Class Two, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Permit test date TBD
