Congratulations to the GSA Math Team on its second place finish at the final Downeast Math League meet of the season, at Washington Academy.
Bailey Townsend was the top 9th-grader in the league, said Isaac Vaccaro, the team’s coach. Ian Bowden was the No. 3 senior, and Azaiah Nanson was the No. 1 senior.
On the way home, the team stopped for some cheesecake at Momo’s, a 24-hour, self-service cheesecake shop.
Best of luck at the state meet in Augusta on Tuesday, April 4. You should stop for pi on the way back!
