    In Her Words

Blue Hill, Maine, is the latest beautiful place that Anna and her daughter, Emma, (15 and a sophomore at GSA) are lucky to call home. Her work as a high school English teacher has taken their cozy family of two to Hawai'i, California, Rhode Island, Taiwan, and Germany.

Anna is a member of the GSA Residential Life team, living and working in Hanley, the girls' dorm. She is a former Fulbright Scholar to Germany, a Phi Beta Kappa Society Member since 1996, and a member of NCTE and MCELA. She was awarded the Rose Writing Fellowship while a graduate student at Brown University. Some of her favorite hobbies are running, gardening, and reading/writing.
