The dedicated efforts of GSA volunteers are critical to many programs and projects at George Stevens Academy. Here are some ways you can volunteer with the Advancement Office.
GSA Fund volunteers are critical to our advancement efforts. This team of more than 50 volunteers each year has a tremendous impact on increasing participation rates, engagement and giving. GSA Fund volunteers help by reaching out via phone, personal notes, or email to invite members of our school community to attend an event or to encourage financial support of GSA.
Class Agents: An alumni-specific way to volunteer is as a class agent. As a class agent, you can really help to get the ball rolling with class correspondence, news and updates, organizing reunions, and generating support for The GSA Fund. We are reaching out to alumni like never before, and we look forward to working closely with and maintaining a strong alumni base to keep alums involved with GSA. Send us an email to become a representative of your class!
Events: The Advancement Office plans events throughout the year. If you would like to help GSA organize an event, please let us know. Currently we are planning Giving Days in early June, which has a community service component, and we'd love to have your input!
Mailings: Folding, stuffing, sealing, stamping, labeling: these are just a few examples of the many steps it takes to mail our important letters and publications such as GSA Matters. The GSA Advancement Office is extremely grateful for the extra help that allows us to send our mailings promptly and efficiently. Many hands make light work, so please join us!
