• Ways to Give to GSA

  • Like all private and independent schools, George Stevens Academy depends on philanthropic giving to cover the costs of educating students—tuition dollars are never enough. There are basically three kinds of gifts that allow individuals to support GSA financially:

    • Gifts made to the annual GSA Fund. These gifts go directly into the year's operating budget to provide direct support for students' experience in and out of classrooms.

    • Capital gifts are made during a capital campaign, for example, to build new facilities or support an educational initiative.

    • Planned gifts are major gifts made in one's lifetime or at death as part of overall financial or estate planning. Planned giving may include gifts of equity, life insurance, real estate, personal property, or cash. Planned gifts are usually intended for the school's endowment whose purpose is to provide a stream of sustained support year after year.

    Not all gifts are monetary!

Of course, we also welcome contributions of your time and energy! GSA volunteers help the school in so many ways: becoming class agents, serving as members of school committees, helping prepare Advancement Office mailings, working with us on special events. Find out more about how to volunteer.
