    Dorm Parent

    In Her Words

I have lived here on the Blue Hill Peninsula for the majority of my life, the beauty of the land and richness of community make this place home. I graduated from George Stevens Academy and was a student ambassador during my time at GSA. It has been a joy to reconnect to the GSA community through my role as a dorm parent in the Residential Life Program.

My degree is in early childhood education with a focus on contemplative education. During college I was fortunate to study abroad in Thimphu, Bhutan, to study Bhutanese culture and teach vocational skills for children and young adults with physical or intellectual disabilities.

I returned to the Blue Hill Peninsula four years ago to become the owner of a family gardening business. I have worked with local nature-based educational programs for young children and continue to integrate my interest in education and gardening through offering opportunities for involvement in the Blue Hill Community Garden, located here on the Hinckley House dorm grounds.
