A Busy Week in Advisory
Students in Kate Kennedy ’99 and Todd Eckenfelder’s advisories ask each other questions like “Do you know how to swim?”, “Do you have three or more pets?”, and “Do you speak English and another language fluently?” on Tuesday. Thanks for the photos, Kate!
Human Bingo was just one of a few activities students could take part in during “buddy advisory,” which pairs 9th-grade groups with 11th-grade groups, and 10th-graders with 12th-graders.
There’s a lot to do at the beginning of the school year, so this week has four advisory meetings rather than the usual two. Student Council candidate speeches for 10th and 11th graders have been (or will be) made, students will sign up for semester one activities, and of course, advisors will check in with their advisees to see how the year is going so far.
