Lunchbox a Piece of Family History
Now THAT’S one “tuff” lunchbox.
Senior Griffin Werner was recently given this aluminum lunchbox by his father, Peter, who bought it in the late ‘80s and always brought it to the construction sites he worked on.
Lunchboxes like these were first manufactured in 1956 by L. May Mfg. for miners to keep their lunches from being squashed. Durability like that isn’t needed on campus, but it sure is great that Griffin has a piece of history to take care of for another 30+ years.
