This summer, the Downeast Art & Antiques Show, America's longest running event of its kind, returns to George Stevens Academy. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 3 and 4, more than 20 exhibitors will come together in the GSA gymnasium* to display superb art and antiques, including paintings, furniture, garden sculpture, silver, glass, ceramics, oriental and hooked rugs, prints, jewelry, and decorative accessories. For a list of trusted exhibitors and more information, CLICK HERE.

A Festive Preview Party on Monday, Aug. 2, from 5-8 P.M. will launch this year's show. Browse and shop the dealers' superb offerings while enjoying a reception with beer, wine, and passed hors d'œuvres. Rioux Catering at The Farmhouse Inn, owned by GSA alumni Bill Rioux '79 and Ann Rioux '82, will provide the delicious food and drink for the party (cocktail attire).

Admission to the preview party costs $75 per person. For reservations, email rsvp.antiquesparty@georgestevens.org or call (207) 374-2800. Leave a message if we're out of the office. If asked, select ext. 133.

Preview Party Sponsors: an anonymous donor, Bill and Arlene Schwind, Martha Stewart, Withington & Co., Kaja Veilleux, Thomaston Place Auction Galleries, Gil and Courtnay Schafer, and Christopher Spitzmiller.

The Downeast Art & Antiques Show itself does not require reservations.
