Admissions Policy


George Stevens Academy admits students of any race, religion, gender, national origin, or sexual orientation in the rights, privileges, programs and activities available to students at the school. Admissions Requirements

George Stevens Academy encourages applications from serious academic students who are open to new challenges and experiences. Admission to George Stevens Academy is based upon the candidate's transcript, application essay, recommendations, and whenever possible, standardized tests such as the SSAT, TOEFL, and SLEP. A $75 non-refundable processing fee is required at the time of the application. A campus visit and interview are highly recommended for all applicants. Skype interviews will be arranged for candidates who are unable to visit. Please contact the admissions office at admissions@georgestevens.org to arrange an interview.

We also accept the Standard Online Application (SAO) offered by the SSAT (school code 3367) and the Boarding School Admission Application offered by TABS.

Application Deadline

Applications for the 2012-2013 school year should be submitted by March 1, 2012. We will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis after March 1 if space allows.

Application Process

Your application file will be complete when GSA has received:

*Admission Application Form along with a $75 non-refundable application fee.

*Recommendations Forms from your English
and Mathematics teachers.

*Your School Report Form
including your transcripts for the past three years.

*Your SSAT (school code 3367), PSAT, SLEP, or TOEFL (school code 8826) scores.
